Accessibility MEO KALORAMA

In the accessibility project of MEO Kalorama will be considered all people with:

- Physical disability.

- Hearing impairment.

- Visual impairment.

- Intellectual disability.

 

And also people with some different needs, such as:

- Pregnant women.

- Elderly people.

- People with temporary reduced mobility.

- Obese people.

 

When accessing the park you can count on:

- Ticket offer to the personal assistant

Those requesting a ticket for a personal assistant must bring with them their ticket, previously purchased or purchased on site, and their medical certificate of multipurpose disability, go to the ticket office at the door of the event to collect the free ticket for the personal assistant. For those with parking passes, they can pick up the ticket of their companion at the customer support at the entrance of the festival portico. 

 

Those who have purchased tickets will not be entitled to a refund.

Tickets limited to stock availability.

Tickets will only be granted for people with 60% or more disability according to a medical certificate of multipurpose disability and proven mobility impairment.

 

- Adapted public transport - please check with transport operators.

- Dedicated parking near the entrance (reduced mobility badge).

- Entrance with ramp.

- Accessible entrance to VIP and other spaces.

 

Inside the park we will have:

- Support team to provide support and information to people with reduced mobility, right at the entrance.

- If you need a stretcher you can use our Hospital.

- You will have priority in the queues according to Portuguese legislation.

- Adapted, unisex toilet on the platform for people with reduced mobility.

- Elevated platform with good visibility to the stages, power for wheelchair charging, bowls with water to hydrate guide dogs, chairs.

- Spaces at the front of the stage next to speakers for deaf people to feel the vibration of the music.

In 2023, MEO Kalorama was honoured with the Accessible Festival award by Turismo de Portugal and the National Rehabilitation Institute, and earlier this year it received the Festival + Acessível 2023 award. With the support of this award, we will be able to increase our support for people with reduced mobility so that we can become an event for everyone!
